Speaking with female friends, the general consensus is that it's more common than not for male friends to want sex with their female friends, platonic or not. We have come to expect it. Some welcome it, others do not. Platonic means no sex, but we are all human after all. I don't judge. I'm just saying, if a woman is looking for a male friend, but might consider a FWB relationship later on, telling her a bit about yourself in the "helpful info" section will improve your chances of getting a response. Not only that, but if we are just friends, and go out to lunch or a concert or whatever, and you are considerably shorter than me, I don't want you walking on your tiptoes trying to be taller than me. As a woman in her 40's, there is nothing you can say that will convince me that I have a lot in common with a guy in his 20's. He wants in the future, but most 40 year olds already have or are raising their family?
